Website filtering protection

    Not sure where else to put this so apologies if it's the wrong place.

    I remember at some stage seeing an announcement on boards where you were going to stop links to certain sites from being clicked, a protection of sorts from dubious websites.

    Can I ask please if this is still on-going and in action, could you look to add in game gold selling and game scam sites ? An example being offgamers.com and scam sites such as g2play.net - which are nothing more than extensive criminal enterprises.

    Hi there,

    Link safety checking is still ongoing - it checks sites for malware and viruses and presents a warning to people. We have absolutely no control over what goes onto the list that throws up a warning - it is all managed by Google Safebrowsing. For this reason, we cannot add the sites requested.
