    HI i am steadily losing my hair and a friend at work said i should use Bay Rum

    does this stuff work???

    I find that a few shots of hard liquor can do a great job of easing my worries about going bald. I prefer whiskey to rum though.

    Putting aftershave on your head is not going to prevent you going bald.

    That i do know lol but its not the after shave but its some form of oinment :rolleyes:

    I would take issue with the 'friend' who recommended this and not a stranger on the internet. There is no cure for male pattern baldness.

    My "friends" dad used it and it worked but if there is no cure why os there so many tonics and such out there:confused:

    Your friend's dad used the stuff and it prevented him going bald, or he went bald and it reversed it?

    Do you really have to ask that question? Why do you think there are so many "cure's"
    Never heard of this latest one and I appreciate that going bald is distrssing for some people so I'm not taking it lightly.
    However I think going bald is just a fact of life for some people unless you go down the surgery route.

    Nope. It might be sold as a sanitizer, tonic, ointment, deodorant, etc. But its basically alcohol, fragrance and water - aftershave
