    This deserves it's own thread

I'm sure someone will have missed this or forgotten about it

bet 50 on the spain italy match and bet the same amount
    again once it kicks off
if the in play bet loses they refund...no catches

If you want to guarantee your original stake back before kick off then do a certainty
like under 3.5 2nd half goals at 1/50

Under 1.5 goals is decent value too

I think there's value in a Spain win here because I don't think Italy are up to much, although they could be dangerous if they get out of the group.

I'd be wary about doing the under goals market because of Pique. Almost every time I've seen him play for the last few months he's made some sort of error which has lead to a goalscoring chance whether it's poor positioning, loss of concentration or trying to overplay it. Only for him I'd have no problem backing Spain to win to nil.

Italy are also missing their best defender Barzagli which further increases the chances of more goals.

looking at under 1.5 goals also at around 13/8

also tempted by spain and under 2.5goals at 11/5 but im not
sure if that bet will be available in play (im guessing not)

also tempted by spain 1-0 and even no goalscorer

If De Rossi does in fact start at cb then there may be goals, but this fixture is traditionally low scoring, the Italians know how to defend, and for them a draw here is a great result, I can see them playing to frustrate Spain (similar to the last time, 0-0) and being happy to try get 4-6 points from the Croatia/Ireland games to qualify.

They will try to frustrate but I just have a feeling that Spain will be far too much for them. Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro, Alonso, Busquets, Fabregas, Ramos etc.will be fresh and raring to go as their seasons virtually ended after the CL semis (bar Barca's cup game with Bilbao)

I can see Spain winning comfortably enough.

I will more then likely end up having a decent stake on Spain so I hope your right :) I was sure the Dutch would win comfortably yesterday too ;)

Gong to use this offer, but after getting stung before on one of these when Liverpool drew 0-0 with someone I realise that there is some risk of losing your initial stake! Probably going to do the under 3.5 second half goals as well though.. pity they don't have the under 4.5 first half goals like they usually do. Or would over 0.5 second half goals be a better choice?

I'll probably put my free bet on a half-time correct score bet.

Gona put the initial 50 on Spain +2, returns around 51.50!
Then might put the free 50 in-play on a goalscorer bet, not sure yet

Would people think under 2.5 first half goals would be better then under 3.5 second half goals seeing as Spain have a very stong attacking bench to come on?

Ive €50 on under 3.5 2nd half goals and for the in play €50 I am going to go with Iniesta or Fabregas 1st goal. Can't decide. Who will be on penos for Spain?

Fabregas is a better goalscorer than Iniesta.

What's the difference/advantage between 0-0 and no scorer?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,249 ✭✭✭Juwwi

I put the first 50 on Spain at 5/6

and have also done the free 50 on no goal at 6/1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 501 ✭✭✭hellfish08

Went for Sliva FGS @ 7/1 - potential winnings £350

    cute hoors

no goalscorer in the in play market for next goalscorer not an option
no 1st goal is the only option there
50 at 6s it is then

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,408 ✭✭✭ft9

    Went with Spain 1-0

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,848 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

they dont offer odds on next goal to be an own goal in running tho so l
just presumed that they dont count.

l must check after the game with them.

To cover my bet or not? Have 0-0 inplay.

Wide open game and Di Natalie is on.
