how do ferreters do damage to ditches I ferret and if I have to dig out the feret I fill in all the holes I dig up there would not be ferreting in heavy ditches anyway so there would be no damage just cause some ferreters dont fill in there digs doesnt mean every ferreter is the same so dont be giving them a bad name

for a start there lad ive got nothing against ferrets if i cant get rabbits out near houses i get my friends in to take care of them so we can put that to bed straght away now in relation to friends of mine doing damage i never said they did it on purpose but if a ditch collapses nothing you can do bout it but all my point is that with shooting them there is no one going near a ditch at all thats all my point is and i know you use nets an all no problem there but you might not always get the rabbit out if the ferret kills the rabbit in the burrow so yeah you have got me wrong lad

So then explain why your slating anyone with ferrets ie damage to ditches?
    Yet you ferret yourself?
How can you slate ferretes and then say you don't mean it that way?
I know plenty of farmers that'd rather me go onto their land to get rabbits with a ferret than a gun
Think your talkin **** mate to be honest
And by the way u say that if gun don't work next thing would be ferrets? Your talkin thru your arse
There could be 5 rabbits outside a ditch and 25 underground
Anyone can tell you straight up they'd prefer a ferret for hunting than anything else!

Anyone with half a brain will tell you if you have rabbit problems then ferrets is the only answer. Shooting is all well and good if the rabbits are constantly getting it over a long period of time. But ferrets will clear the place out with no messing.

Edit: And for what its worth. Just because you know some ferreters who are eejits doesnt mean we all are. If we look at shooters I can name plenty of people who have hit horses with ricochets, shot dogs in peoples gardens thinking it was a fox, shot livestock because they're too trigger happy when they see eyes at night.

well here here my old son calm your little self down there i dont talk through my arse i tak the truth i said that to keep a young lad on here happy that he was looking for a little bit of land and if you really want to be honest there fella here you are ferrets are not insured on farmers land now your wondering my little fella what that means ill happliy tell you if you have ferrets in a ditch and you go and did them out more big holes in the ditch then the ditch might now i said might collapse then no insurance would cover that and all you have with you is a bllody spade then you have to turn around and get a stone masonery in to repair the bloody wall, now on to the gun any decent fella with a gun knows what to look for in the bloody scope and just incase your unaware if you ferret kills a lamb by accident no payment can be made but if a gun shoots live stock, (which thank god never has happened) id be the first one to knock on the door of the farmer day or bloody night, and by the way fare enough ferrets can clear out a field but sure then you cant go tehre again for a good while but with a gun you can take them out bit by bit you get a few evenings out of the field , so next time you get on your high horse there make sure you have your facts correct
