Hi. I'm off to the sun for two weeks tomorrow, so I'm looking for a body weight routine that I could do three times per week?

What do you mean by a body weight routine? Are you looking to lose it or gain it?

Tbh, if your going on holiday, whatever you do your not going to see results while your out there, so I'd swim in the pool, run on the beach, dodge the waves, and try not to have too many pina colladas.

Then, hit the gym when you get back. You only get one holiday a year. Enjoy it.

Ok if he was doing the exercise with a barbell, would you ask him if he was looking to gain or lose a barbell?

He's looking for resisted exercises done using ones bodyweight, in absence of external loading.

    'Have you seen my barbell?'

Alot of the people coming to this forum are looking to lose weight, a lot of them are looking to gain it. The OP said "body weight exercises" not "bodyweight exercises"I don't think its an unreasonable question to ask them to clarify.

    What?

    No, it is.

He's going away on holidays, presumably without a gym, and is fairly obviously looking to train. No one goes on holidays and tries to gain muscle or drop fat while they're away. They go away to enjoy themselves.

I've seen semantics argued on here before, but never to THIS extent. I'm quite shocked.

    Make your own....

15 minutes, as many rounds as possible:

    A) Upper push (push up/t-push up/clapping push up/hand stand push up)
    B) Upper pull (chins/pull ups/inch worms/scap shrugs/scap pull ups)
    C) Legs (air squat/jump squat/lunge/reverse lunge/jumping lunge/step up/box jump)

Pick one from each, do 8 reps of each the first day, record your rounds, do 10 reps of each the second day, record your rounds, do 12 reps of each the 3rd day, record your rounds - try to stay within 1-2 rounds in total over a 3 day period. Then repeat in week 2 and try to beat week 1 scores.

You could go for a run/sprints/jump rope etc before hand.

Add to all of the above some core work and holidays or not one would have a very solid program

Your quote failed because you are missing the opening square bracket "[" and forward slash "/" to close the quote.

    So it should have read
[QUOTE=Hanley;79072937]Ok if he was doing the exercise with a barbell, would you ask him if he was looking to gain or lose a barbell? [IMG]http://b-static.net/vbulletin/images/smilies/confused.gif[/IMG] [B][/[/B]QUOTE]

And you woudl ahve gotten this result

Just google "BBCode" for a list of things you can do with in the Bulletin Board Software.

Almost as important as getting a good workout is keeping an eye on your diet.

You can still eat out every night and enjoy every meal without unnecessarily being a total pig about it, which too easily happens in holiday mode.

    (imho)
