This may come across as a ridiculous question for a lot of people, but i'm genuinely clueless. Im 17 and fairly skinny for my age so I decided to join the Gym about a month ago. And whilst I have noticed a big difference in my biceps/triceps I haven't anywhere else. I havent been doing much cardio as I am in pretty good shape fitness wise and I need to put on weight, not lose it. What foods would yee guys recommend, I know protein is the obvious answer but for a 17 year old I need something easier to make, than chicken. Basically what I'm asking is, is there an easy way to put on weight? Any help is mucho appreciated

Also, what form of Protein do yee guys recommend? I currently have "Muscle Milk" but this was given to me as a friend who doesn't go Gym anymore, Im sure that it isn't the right one for me..and it tastes like arse on a good day

There is a great sticky on nutrition in this forum. I'd recommend spending a lot of time there as a starting point as it contains some very good advice.

As for diets, there is a lot of focus on the paleo diet right now. The trainers in your gym should be able to provide nutrition advice on it and other diets.

Eat more chicken, beef, tuna, red meat, milk for protein
    Pasta,potatoes,porridge for carbs
Try eating 5-6 smaller meals a day to get your stomach used to eating more
    Workout 3-4 times a week-(strength training exercises)
Try to consume 500 more calories than your daily maintenance intake

As for supplements you should try either a weight gainer or protein powder if you think you need the extra calories or protein
And more importantly you need to stick at it if you are serious about it
    Good luck
