    Hello,

I am looking for some help regarding working as a physiotherapist in america. I am actually asking on behalf of someone from czech republic but i would imagine it would be similiar for all Europeans so here I am!

So can anyone advise me on the process involved in moving to the US to work as a physio there. It seems to be a very complicated! With a bachelor and masters in physiotherapy, and some years experience, she is intent on going but between visas, physiotherapy tests etc.., it is quiet daunting..

Any advice from you would help an awful lot.

    Thank you so much!

    Seán

There are some recruitment agencies that are trying to hire new grad's from Ireland to work in the USA at the min. They lock you into contracts though so beware.

I'm not sure a degree from the Czech republic is recognised with the ISCP. If it is then working in the USA shouldn't be too hard. But if it isn't you don't have a chance I'm afraid.

Here is basic info for Irish physios to work in the usa. If your friend is registered with the ISCP then only the Visa issues should be different.
