    Hi,

I know most pints have around 200 odd calories in the, and the light beers have a little less.

However, apparently Bulmers Light has only 140 cals per 500ml can? That seems very very low, anyone know this for sure?

This used to be on their website, I copied and pasted it ages ago
Calorie Content of Bulmers / Magners

    KCAL VOLUME
    37 100ML
    122 330 ML
    210 PINT

    Calorie Content of Bulmers Light

    KCAL VOLUME
    28 100ML
    86 330 ML
    130 PINT
But the bulmers light figures do not agree with each other. 28 per 100ml means a pint (568ml) would be 159kcal. And 330ml would be 92kcal.

Bulmers light is 24x500ml cans for 24 in tesco at the moment.

    Tesco list it as
Typical Values Typical values per 100ml: -
    Energy 115kj / 35KCALS

which would be 175kcal per 500ml

    and
    28 100ML =140kcal per 500ml
    86 330 ML = 130kcal per 500ml
    130 PINT =114kcal per 500ml

Dunno have the EU haven't stepped in an insisted alcohol products have to display ingredients & energy info, its crazy that they are still exempt. Too busy worrying about bendy bananas etc.

I have always found getting info incredibly difficult, the only popular one with info on the can is guinness draught.
