That Kane cape must have been pretty early on. The red ropes and block logo on the turnbuckle places it in the latter half of 1997 as you would expect.

This website of results doesn't have him listed as working house shows prior to debuting at Badd Blood during the Cell match and he didn't have a cape on TV http://thehistoryofwwe.com/97.htm

It did suit him but the lads grabbing away at it kind of ruins the mystique of the character.They should've put some plants in a crowd on a tv show to do it and then have Kane set them on fire:pac:
