8 weeks into cutt and now I'm injured - advice?

    Hi all,

Just looking for some advice or tips.

I'm 8 weeks into a 12 week cut, but badly strained my rotator cuff over the weekend, meaning I can no longer train my upper body correctly.
I'm doing cardio (HIIT) and abs.

Any tips on maintaining my lean muscle on my upper body/clever ways to continue the cutt much appreciated.

I'm aware that this may not be possible and I need to rest!!

Bad luck mate, how did it happen?
No sage advice here I'm afraid except maybe some leg machine and core work.
Any idea when you expect to recover?

What your physio/doctor said about exercising?

just keep the food in check, once your food is in check you should be able to recover from a strain with minimal effect on your overall cut.

Dont presume its a strain...get it checked professionally!!

Sh*t ton of BCAAs and don't go mad on the high intensity glycolytically demanding stuff.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it.

To clarify, it has been checked professionally. Naturally, with a tear/strain it can be difficult to ascertain what exactly it is. Second visit with physio in the morning following up from xray last time.

Main concern are the lovely deltoids that I've built....ah well, there's always next time!!
