Hi I'm an 18 year old male and I'm 5'5 and I am currently 10 stone 2 pounds.

I'm looking for advice on a diet so I could lost weight around the stomach area and the chin area,
starting to get a bit of a double chin :P.

I'm not really sure what meals I should be eating.
Could anyone give me a 7 day meal plan?
    Like Breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.
And would it be best just limiting my drinks down to water?

    Thanks for the help. :)

I forgot to say that I will be doing mostly cardio for an hour 3 days a week or so, is this enough? Thanks.

    That seems like your underweight.

When I check the BMI and stuff I'm normal weight but the weight is all at my stomach probably because I've been on the drink from last monday till Saturday it's a bit like a beer belly!

But I'm hoping to get a bit of motivation and give it up and eat healthy.

Cut down on the alcohol! Beer = Beer Belly.
    Drink plenty of water.
    Walking.
Even jogging, gym, swim whatever you can.
    More veggies.
    Water.
Stir fry is good for loads of veggies and tasty spices/ sauces.
    Water.
Cut out sugars etc like biscuits, cake things.
    Walking.
Lay off pastas, rice, pizza, fast food, white bread, sugary cereals
Replace with brown rice, brown nutty/seed bread, porridge (half water half milk)
    Water.
Also, Apple Cider Vinegar boosts metabolism (helps to lose weight.). Mix it with some water, each morning.

    More protein less fat/sugar/boose

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks :).
Would it be best to do my cardio in the morning after breakfast?

It's good to get some exercise - even light exercise like walking - in the morning as it boosts your metabolism for the day. A walk and fresh air. And exercise in the morning will boost your digesting obviously for a few hours.

After dinner is usually lazy time for most people. Dinner is your biggest meal and it's best to exercise after that meal. It's the heaviest and biggest so it's good to do your cardio after that meal to boost up the metabolism and digestion big time. :)
(but don't go cardio STRAIGHT after dinner or you'll get a cramp lol)

Try ditching all the wheat, eat some more good fats, omega 3, nuts, avacados, etc. If you are doing cardio, stick to walking or sprinting. Try interval running( loads of info on the web). You should also be doing some sort of strength work. Bodyweight movements are great if you have no access to a gym. Try press ups, squats, burpees, jumping, handstands, pull ups, etc. At your height, your weight is ok, just not the right type of weight (more muscle, less fat). Try a personal trainer for great help.

I'll get the nuts and the acacados in in the morning thanks :) I'm starting to do work on my chest as well so flys, and bench presses etc.
Got a months membership today so I've access to the gym now.

Also what nuts should I get? Not really sure which is the healthiest.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Almonds are great, so too are macadamia nuts. Just don't eat too many. Usually around 10 is a good amount. If you are.a member of a gym, try deadlifts, squats, overhead presses. Just get very very good training on these excercises before attempting them. Avoid the machines. Get good on those bodyweight exercises too. Good luck.

    Cheers.

    My diet today was

Breakfast: A banana and half an orange with a glass of water.
Lunch: Vegtable soup with 2 slices of Wholemeal bread with water.
Dinner: 2 chicken filets boiled with a baked potato and a carrot with water.
Snack: 2 boiled eggs and a glass of water.

    Does that sound ok?

    Hey,
Looks like you under ate today. Only about 1100 cals. Each meal should have protein. You should be eating about 1800 cals a day. PM me if you want more.

Can I say as somebody with tyroid problems DO NOT take iodine tablets. The thyroid is a very delicate thing - start messing with it & you could be in for a whole world of pain. Stick to the excellent advice here on diet & exercise.

    No.

And you don't need to say you drank water with every meal.

So two boiled eggs and a banana for breakfast? :)

I personally wouldn't last very long on two boiled eggs and a banana.

I'd go for an omlette with 3 eggs, peppers, spinach and chopped up chicken.
