    Hello

I live in ranelagh and I was a member of Jackie Skelly on the Shelbourne Road in the past, but after initially being told the gym would have no problem providing me with, and updating a programme to follow, and that I could ask questions if I was stuck, to then being pushed to sign up for personal training with one of my trainer's colleagues I decided to leave. I was only there a few months and I was not trying to train for the olympics!

There is a new Flye Fit gym in Ranelagh which has a great location for me, but it's run by Jackie Skelly, and I'm not very keen on joining it.

I do not drive so I have been considering Ben Dunnes Gym in Sandyford because I could access it via the Luas, or even closer Raw in Portobello. Is one better than the other? My aim is to tone up and then gain some mass.

My budget is about €200 for the year which will cover Ben Dunnes Gym, but I'd consider stretching it to €285 for a student membership of Raw if it's really worth it. Will these gyms provide me with a programme, update it and answer questions when required over form and diet etc without wanting to charge more?

What do you think? Perhaps there is another gym close by or easily accessible by the Luas I should consider? I mention in the topic that I am also interested in gyms near Donnybrook/Ballsbridge as I will be moving there over the coming year.

I used to train in Raw and couldn't recommend it highly enough.
