Any paleo parents?

    Hi,

Is there any body here doing a paleo / primal eating plan that is a parent?

I'm a stay at home mam (for now - recession - grrrrrrrr!), with a 3 year old and a 1 year old and I tend to eat what they eat.

A lot of The Paleo Cookbook meals look like a lot of work for me with two smallies at my feet as they tend to be most of the day.

So is anybody else in the same boat as me?

    Do you have any tips?

There's actually a blog for your needs:

They have a cookbook for kids too. I find that my niece tends to love what I eat when she stays with me. Just make sure not to go too low carb with them. Growing kids need plenty of good unprocessed carbs and fats.

That is perrrrrfect thank you. I'm breast feeding too so that looks like a great place to start.

I'm a mother of four and I also work full time. I've been working at being paleo for a couple of months now with a few (or more than a few) stumbles. I also really like Sarah Fragoso's cookbook called Everyday Paleo. She has a website as well. http://everydaypaleo.com/

Her recipes are generally quite easy and the kids seem to like them.
