Eight new courses are being offered at IT Tralee through the Springboard initiative. Springboard is targeted at those who were previously working, and who, with upskilling, could fill current or future job shortages.

IT Tralee was awarded €300,000 to run a range of part-time courses including Export Sales and Marketing, Applied Biology and Chemistry, and Digital Marketing. Those who undertake the courses will retain their benefits and if they find a job, they'll still be allowed to finish their course.

Prospective students can apply online through www.springboardcourses.ie; closing date is September 5th.
