weight loss advice & addicted to exercise

    Hello all,
Basically I need advice on weight loss or tips on how to break the cycle of overeating. I eat very healthily. My daily diet is :
breakfast : Protien shake & Banana, Mid Morn: walnuts and fruit, Lunch: fish with pitta bread and Salad.Mid Pm, possibly protein bar and dinner is usually fish and veg/Quorn burger/veg dish with beans.
Then there's all the extras...a couple of marshmallows here and there, a square of dark chocolate here and there...toast sometimes for supper. I always allow myself a small mini choc snack bar in the evening...it usually stops me from eating too much chocolate.
I go to the gym before work, my routine is spin class x 5 per week, weights (20min) x 2, bodypump x2 and boxfit x1.
I feel extremely fit, but ideally would like to lose a stone to look alot leaner and get more definition.
Main issue is eating correctly while so active and seeing weight loss results! Any suggestions?

Sounds like you are snacking too much.
Cut out or reduce the above. Ditto the protein bar (its a better option than a chocolate bar as a treat, buts its not a good option to have regularly)

You need to cut some calories from your daily diet.Eat some fibre foods...

As well as cutting out the snacking as suggested above, you should try and vary your routine.

Your body gets used to excersise routines and especially if your doing 5x spin classes at the same level. Why don't you substitute 2 spin classes for a swim session or treadmill & cross trainer?

Also I'd imagine that the spin classes are more focused on cardio and high intensity, for fat loss you need to be on a lower intensity workout so monitor your heartrate and stay within the fat burning level suited to your attributes.

Many thanks for your replies. I know I favour cardio over weights. Love the endorphin release. recommenced weights after christmas and really started to notice a change to my body. but over this time my appetite has increased. I do eat alot of fibre, brown bread and loads of fruit and veg. the problem is craving carbs and mindless snacking. I just need to get a handle on eating the right foods at the right time. Is calorie counting/tracking intake the only solution to weight loss?

That isn't actually true, you will burn fat at both low and high intensities, and higher is often more effective.

OP - too much sugar and carbs in there, mostly in the form of snacks which you don't need. If you cut out 95% of the sugar, you will actually start to lose those cravings!
