Big guests for me will be Marcia Cross and George Galloway. This should be a good one. See ya then!

Hmm, even I might be tempted by that lineup - if I make it home after the rugby :D

Marcia Cross and George Galloway... hmm .. Is it just me or are RTE pushing a few more of the decent guests Brendan's way.. ? Are they grooming him to take over the big job when Tubs is poached by the BBC, CNN, or some other international station?

    Galloway, hmmmm.

Is it still possible to get tickets for the show ?

That Jihad loving apologist for fanatical suicide bombing terrorists and their leaders dodged a question I put to him during a talk he gave in NUIG a couple of years back.

I'd love to give him another opportunity to respond.

Galloway is always worth a watch. Great speaker.

Lapin, Maybe you should post your question for Galloway here. We have reason to believe that Brendan and the SNS crew read this thread.

George Galloway is an odious toad. Not to be trusted.

Everytime I hear George Galloway's name I get flashbacks of the Celebrity Big Brother "Cat Incident":eek::eek:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

That moment was one of the worst ever on Reality TV....actually, THE worst so far in my book.

Talk about selling your soul for "fame"......

I saw Brendan O'Connor at Jerry Seinfeld's gig last week.

I hope Beefy got some inspiration for his opening gags there, they have been very weak lately.

George Galloway [performing his cat impression to Rula Lenska]: Now, would you like me to be the cat? Purrrrrr… Purrrrrr…
    Celebrity Big Brother

^^^^ 50 euro on Brendan mentioning this tonight...it's what Brendan was born to do. :p

    Enough already.
What about his BB feline antics.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

Marcia Cross aka Bree Van De Kamp won't appear on the show until the Champions League Final is over. Brendan will want a decent audience for the interview I reckon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,810 ✭✭✭take everything

I'm trying to think of the segues Brendan needs to arrive at the cat thing.
"the Iraq war was cat, wasn't it"
    "Speaking of cats...".
    Seamless. :pac:

Im sorry, I've tried to be reasonable.. But Brendan's interviewing style drives me insane! I just can't imagine him with Marcia Cross.... 'And come here to me..'

    Cringe!

In fairness, a bit of a change from the usual RTE canteen fare tonight.
Although meanwhile Graham Norton has Will Smith and Tom Jones.

Grahams like a big bag of fun! I think the fact that he doesnt have a desk makes the show so relaxed. Also Will Smith rapped The Fresh Prince theme tune :)

What an insipid version of the Buzzcocks classic in that Kia Ceed ad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,540 ✭✭✭Aoife9

Yeehaa! got rid of the boys down to my bedroom to watch the rest of the footie I sulked and huffed and whinged about being the only woman in the house and if I had to miss my show for footie they will have to sit through Desperate housewives some night with me! haha the 10 yr old giving out about having to watch on a tiny 32 inch old fashioned tv!! :D:D

Wouldn't be his biggest fan (he can be funny though) but yeah the format seems unique, the way he deals with three big guests together.
That second girl in the chair (reciting The Fresh Prince theme) was great. Will Smith got a good kick out of it.

The body language between these two is something else - I get the feeling that they don't get on.

I never warmed to him until this year! But I realised that I actually look forward tp watching it.. in comparison to 'Ah I'll check in with The Saturday Night Show!'

If my six year old was watching this she would think that Jayne was the girl in "Tangled".

"We're the only creature that knows it's gonna die."
    That's a bit presumptuous.
