I would imagine the tins of baked beans have alot of sugar in them.
Nuts have high amounts of fats and proteins ussually and the fats are not the bad type.

sugar = a rise in insulin levels, which allows your body to store fat as far a si know.
Eggs are a great source of protein after exercise and if your looking for fast protein.
And as you mentioned nuts are a good healthy protein/fat snack.

Its about the carbs and sugar i believe when focusing on fat gain/loss.

So might just depend on how much exercise you are getting and if you are looking for snacks before or after or just during a regular workday behind a desk.

If you dont burn calories and you get them from refined carbs, your body should store the excess.

If you have a fairly low carb diet you can eat alot of fat and the excess should pass through you, not get stored.
But im no expert on the bad types of fats,so mayeb someone else could help us out there.

What's the bad type of fat?

    No it's not.
If you dont burn calories and you get them from refined carbs, your body should store the excess.
As opposed to when you get your excess calories from fat and you don't store them? you wish...
If you have a fairly low carb diet you can eat alot of fat and the excess should pass through you, not get stored.
That's a disease and it's called steatorrhea, go see a doctor.

    Thanks for the sarcasm lol
Unfortunatley you were no help to the op.
It would help both of us, if you could explain a little on your comments.

For a start sugar and rising insulin does not cause you to store fat?

I read that when your body does not store fat you excrete it.
    Is this false?

I said i didnt know much on the bad types, because i dont know any...
Im presuming doing things like frying with vegtable oil is an example of the bad things you can do with fat...compared to say frying with coconut oil.
Might not have alot to do with the type of fat than the burning temps but that is just an example of why i dont say much on that aspect.

I just know whats fairly healthy to eat and tend to default to that.

I would like to know though, what happens to all that fat when i stuff myself with a ton of nuts?
It means if i excrete it i am sick and if not....it gets stored as fat? lol

Red card. It doesn't matter how right or wrong your argument is, when you stoop to patronizing, condescension and sarcasm towards a fellow poster you always come out the loser. Reel it in.

I wouldn't consider them worth it considering the 53g of carbs really
eggs or cottage cheese or something like that would be better

Simple diet to input into fitday www.fitday.com or any other tracking site.

See total calories and protein grams and post back.

The ultimate determinant of gaining fat is a calorie excess. Any individual meal may cause you to store fat, whether it has carbs in it or not. You can store fat without carbs

I hope so. Why would your body not store fat, if you eat in excess? Dietary fat is stored more easily than dietary carbohydrate.

I just know whats fairly healthy to eat and tend to default to that.

We are not all candida sufferers, plus check out this alternative explanation and 'cure': http://180degreehealth.com/2012/04/rethinking-candida

Thanks for that,it put a major spanner in the works though haha
Now im well confused as to what approach to take.
I started getting sick from anti biotics. So im not sure, for a candida cure that is focusing on heavy metals.
But it forces me to do more research, which is always good...i think :)

ok did that its coming out at 151grams protein ,125grams carbs ,and 100 grams fat and about 2000 calories altogether am i lacking in anything from these numbers , i also put in what i used to be eating and it came out 118grams protein 225grams carbs 81grams of fat and 2100 calories but i never went a day without a couple of bags of crisps or a few choclate bars or icecream or something so that has to be added in but its hard because i used to eat anything from 1 bag a day to 8-9 bags a day and same with bars and stuff and the odd ristorante pizza here and there if i got peckish
