Gym Program

    Hey All,

    New here.

    Have decided that I want to spend my summer getting into shape and fit,but need some help as never stepped inside a gym in my life. The most I ever do is jog (2-5) miles swim ( good few lengths).

    Stats
    20
    Weight 65kg
    Height 5ft 7in

    Any advice on where to go to get a good program to work on.

    Willing to give up 5 nights a week if I see results in a month or so, by results I mean anything not expecting a six pack or anything lol

    Imo, you need a goal as well as a vague notion about 'getting fit'. Otherwise what will keep you going five nights a week? Do you want advice on a weights programme, or is it more important to build your cardio fitness?

    Sorry slight overlook there.

    Male.

    Looking to gain lean muscle and tone up so yes a weights program using a gym as well as a general cardio program to increase fitness level. Realised that trying to combine the two was going to take time so thats why I was thinking up to 5 nights

    Never done weights before thats why I was looking for advice on where to start, have very little muscle strength etc.

    My aim and image is to have a flat stomach, with some muscle definition, some muscle definition on my arms and general ok fitness level.
