Unknown configuration

    Hi everybody,

Just a question I have for anyone who knows anything about IT.

Was watching an auction on-line and they were flogging computer towers that had no cables (not an issue) and "unknown configuration".

Does anyone know what they mean by this "unknown config", is it a good reason not to put a bid in??

Any help will be helpful, and much appreciated

It probably means they know nothing about them, e.g. CPU/RAM/HDD etc. You could end up with anything. Then again, you could get a bargain! I wouldn't bet the farm on it though.
