Toulon have announced their squad, they played a second side last weekend in the Top14 so they should go full strength for this.

    Le groupe (25 joueurs) :

    Les avants (15) :
    Jean-Charles ORIOLI - Sébastien BRUNO
Carl HAYMAN - Davit KUBRIASHVILI - Laurent EMMANUELLI - Eifion LEWIS ROBERTS - Levan CHILACHAVA
Kristian CHESNEY - Christophe SAMSON - Dean SCHOFIELD - Jocelino SUTA
Joe EL ABD - Steffon ARMITAGE - Pierrick GUNTHER - Joe VAN NIEKERK.

    Les 3/4 (10) :
Fabien CIBRAY - Sébastien TILLOUS BORDE
    Jonny WILKINSON
Matt GITEAU - Mathieu BASTAREAUD - Geoffroy MESSINA
Benjamin LAPEYRE - Alexis PALISSON - Luke ROONEY - David SMITH

Note: JMF Lobbe is not registered in the ACC squad nor is Bakkies Botha.

    Probable side:
    Lewis-Roberts, Bruno, Hayman, Schofield, Samson, Gunther, Armitage, Van Niekerk;
Tillous-Borde, Wilkinson, Smith, Giteau, Basteraud, Palisson, Lapeyre

Bench: Orioli, Emmanuelli, Kubriashvili, Suta, El-Abd, Cibray, Messina, Rooney

    ALLEZ TOULON!!!!

With so many people only going over for Saturday's game the attendance at this may end up being shockingly low.

Given how bad both semi finals were it will be hard to call a winner, but I'd say toulon may just pull it out of the bag

Gutted I'm missing this, my flight to London is 9pm. :(

Is there anywhere in Terminal 2 that shows matches? Always seems a bit bare of TV's anytime I've flown through there.

Can't see anything but a Toulon victory to be honest. They look like they want it, and after the shake up they got from the Stade B team I don't think they'll see many mistakes...

I would agree except that this is the only way Biarritz can get into the HEC next season so they should be fired up for the game.

In terms of european experience Biarritz have it in spades over Toulon and I don't think you can read too much into the relative league positions of the two. Hard one to pick, Toulon have all the names but BO are far more of 'team'. One for the francophiles to call as I haven't seen enough of either team to make a prediction.

You'd have to fancy Toulon on paper, but then again they'll have one eye on the Top 14 playoffs and could very well come unstuck against an in form Biarritz side who will be very keen to get Heineken qualification and finish the season on a high.

    Biarritz for me, just.

I'd be majorly surprised if it was, I'd say you will easily pick up tickets outside the ground. Be it from official sources or other fans selling tickets for people who couldn't go

Yeah last year the place was half empty for it. I can't see it being a sell out even with the handier location and JW on show.....

we are a group of four and hoping to make it in time for the amlin.
there are still tickets available, and cheaper if you arrive in groups, supposedly. looking forward to the weekend.

if Biarritz win they get the last spot in the heineken cup next year.
if they lose, do they getting the spot, being the highest ranked french team not qualified or do stade get it finishing 7th in the league?
just wondering as i'm trying to look at the seedings for next season.

Looking from below it looks like Biarritz have already got into next seasons HEC, Stade can't catch them.

Barnes has made this the horrible spectacle that it is, not once has he pulled the two captains in for a warning about repeated infringements
