"fit" is a very broad term. You need to be more specific.

Do you want to be stronger?

Would you like to be able to run long distances at a slow pace for longer?

Would you like to be able to run short distances, more frequently in better times?

Looking at any aspect of nutrition on it's on is relatively meaningless without an idea of what a "normal" day of eating for you is.

It would be a great idea if you take a cup of juice after your exercise is done.Mango juice will be better.

Hi, was about to start a similar thread but since this is here, don't want duplicate thread.

My main goal is weight loss. Fitness goal from what Hanley mentioned would be running shorter distances more frequently. Basically, I stopped playing rugby a while back, put on a good bit of weight and now I want to go back to it.

At the moment, I'm on a low carb diet and have seen good losses so far, almost 2 stone in 6 months. My diet mainly consists of:

    Breakfast:
Eggs or protein shake and some sort of nut butter (peanut, almond)

    Lunch:
Tuna or mackerel with sunflower oil or mayonnaise
Salad with LOTS of spinach, cucumber, tomato, cheese and olive oil or other dressing

    Dinner:
I have grilled or baked chicken and some days I'd have fish.
Carrot, brocolli, mushrooms, parsnips, peas etc, I like to have a good mix of veg

    Snacks:
Maybe another protein shake or some nut butter again.

So, I want to know, what sort of programme would you recommend for me? I want to lose weight, get fitter but don't want to lose all muscle I have. Not an easy goal I would think but any help would be appreciated :)
