    http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn21800-thermostat-protein-could-help-burn-off-the-flab.html

When I came across this article although its going down the 'lets make a drug for the fat people' route it occurred to me if brown fats metabolised to maintain a constant body temperature would it make sense for people on a cut to maybe ditch the jacket and turn down the heat?
    Basically, yeah.
You body works to keep a constant temp, so it makes sense that your BMR is higher in colder conditions. Same idea with drinking ice water. But i'm not sure if it would have a meaningful effect

I guess thats another study for another university! I guess on the flip side whats to say theres not another process in the body that increases brown fat production when bmp8B levels exceed a certain point
