Hi guys not sure if this is the right place to post this so move if necessary......

I have been trying to get an article accepted into Wikipedia for over 8 weeks.....I have edited it and changed it and submitted it 9 times, and still no joy.

It's a real nightmare because the subject (they have told me) is definitely notable, I have all independent references in, and still it gets rejected.

I'm at the end of my tether.....

    can anyone help me please?

    Thanks a million!

I assume you followed the guidelines? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Your_first_article

Did they offer an explanation as to the rejection?

Do you know what I just discovered?
You don't need to go through the approval process if you are a registered user!
You just write the article and goes directly into WP!!!

I wasted weeks of effort trying to get it approved when I didn't need to.......

    Well I'll know in future!

    Thanks for your replies

Be that as it may be, if there are people who feel that the article isn't worthy, relevant or correct for Wikipedia (i.e. the reasons they were rejecting it for in the first place) they can still go through a process to have it removed again.

I wrote an article on wikipedia on a tribunal in Ireland. Linked to it from relevant pages. It's still there now. They dont pre-moderate content, so everything is accepted by default.

Oh right I see it's because you weren't registered. It was probably being thrown out for a reason though. Anyway you'll have a page now for yourself, and if they delete it again they might let you know on the talk tab of that.
