Hey guys I'm hoping to do the ring of Kerry this year. I would generally be fairly fit. Since early June last year I have being hitting the gym 3-4 times a week. My workouts involve running, rowing, weights, cycling, boxing and matial arts, stretchs, skipping, cross trainer and odd bit of soccer. This varies from week to week.

Now that I want to do the ring of Kerry, I'm just wondering how much preparation I should be putting into my cycling aspect of my gyming. Normally would do 30mins of intense workout. Obviously need to up this now but can anyone give me targets I need to be doing in order for me to sail through the ring of Kerry. The ring of Kerry is 180km, and today I did 21km as my starting point on varied levels and resistance. Will up this each time I cycle. I think I have 2 months before the challenge so I want to gradually build it up. I do a lot of running too so I'm not sure if this will stand to me when doing the ring of Kerry challenge in terms of my general fitness?

    Help and advice appreciated.

    Thanks.
