    Hey guys,
I've been doing some resistance training for a while now, but looking to get proper ripped. I've been been reading up on the type of training someone like Ryan Reynolds does. Its based around 5 days where he focuses on a different muscle group each day. Does anyone have any good programs for this? Is it advisable to do this kind of workout?
Am i correct in saying that its better to lift heavier weights with less reps for this kind of physique?
I work right beside my gym so its no problem goin in every morning and doing it, i just need to proper program to target the correct muscles.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks

before anybody gets in there, post up your diet first :D

seriously though. he is a full time actor who's job is based on being in good condition for the camera - doesn't mean he's actually fit or strong

I'd go for a three day approach to the gym, sort out your diet and then do cardio on two days of the week

plenty of 'three day a week' programs out there if you want to do the whole individual muscle training thingy

    Cheers for the reply :)

    Diet would be:

    Morning: 2 eggs or oatmeal

    Post Gym : Protein Shake

    Snack : Nuts

Lunch: Chicken breast and Brown Rice

    Snack: Tuna and fruit

Dinner : Chicken/Steak and Salad or

    Snack : protein shake

Thats about it. Should I have another Protein Shake during the day?

    Thanks.

That looks a decent diet but you should mix it up a bit everyday... i would add more carbs in the morning on the days that you plan on lifting heavy weights too

To be fair, I'd say there very little chance that he got in that kinda of shape with out getting fit and relatively strong at the same time.
