I seen this video while reading about hip mobility . When i put my leg up my knee is way up in the air around 60 degrees.
Which muscle or muscles is causing this mobility issue?

It's not really a single muscle but rather a muscle group called the hip 'external rotators'. Have a look on mobilitywod under hip external rotators he has a few good stretches for them. You might also have issues with anterior pelvic tilt which in my experience can impede that muscle group. One stretch I do is what he is doing except I do it lying on my back in bed, keeping the core muscles tight (allows good pelvic positioning).

When I put my left leg on my knee my ankle to knee is horizontal nearly whereas with my right leg it's up at 45 degrees or so. I should also mention my left quads and hamstring are very tight and I get some pain on my left knee. Any idea what that is?
