    Quick questions

I have sunflower seeds as a snack and in my porridge. I have two different packets and one says 519kcal per 100g and the other says 619kcal per 100g.

I am very confused, which number should I go with? How can there be such a difference? At the minute I am going with 590kcal per 100g as I found that number on MFP.

You go with the number on the pack you are eating.

They higher kcal one could be dried out more, or simply just different strains of sunflower. Like cooking apples could have lower sugar content & less calories than sweet eating apples. Or if they are grown in different regions or harvested at different times it could effect oil content.
