I use to lurk Boards years back and always like the posts of a user called WhiteVanMan - I believe that was his name.

Seemed like a nice chap who wasn't afraid to voice a controversial opinion or three, while remaining quite charming underneath it all.

So him, that's who I been looking out for but to no-avail, as he seems to have departed this waters, many moons ago.

A good few people who regularly post here. When your knocking around AH certain names become more familiar and you can tell which way they'll sway in a certain given argument from remembering previous posts they've made.

Sad_professor, dudess, Wibbs, couple of others.

Sad_professor is an excellent writer on TV shows and movies, he's read all the books I've read and seen all the films I've seen and watched all the TV shows I've seen plus more. He ties up a lot of links, reads a lot of behind the scenes and fanboy stuff and delivers it in a neat package. he was the prince of the Lost forum.

Wibbs, on the face of it seems slightly better read on psychology and social science but is far superior at putting his point across. Probably has much better depth in these fields but I do worry when he strays into real science. Seems like a nice lad and has a habit of subtly, but not too subtly, making reference to previous conquests. So he talks all this stuff about romance and blah blah blah but you know at the end of the day he's just one of the lads but with slightly better chat up lines.

Dudess, like I rarely agree with anything or much anyway of what she says. But, in a kind of weird way, I think she represents what I'd say if i was female and stupid. Hmm, just such a feminine perspective that's so deeply feminine it's almost always wrong.

There actually aren't a whole lot of people who are consistently entertaining or enlightening on boards. Most people take themselves or the forum too seriously

Same, even if I don't agree with his point of view you can always see where he is coming from.

Other than that, Dudess, because after some posts you'll have people start bitching at her and it gets funny.

Kiera, is she still around? I generally liked her posting style when she was here.

There are a few more I'd say, but remembering them all is quite difficult.

So what you're saying is, Dudess isn't the problem, and you just have a problem with anything feminine, I mean this is the internet, how dare someone be feminine.

I find that strange though given Dudess' posts are quite androgynous, though can sometime berate people making generalisations or just generally being assholes.

Seamus seems to just have a knack of posting what I'd say in threads, just far better worded and argued!

Couple of posters who I'd often disagree with but you can debate with, without snide insults or stomping off, Biggins being the main one.
