Ok my game just crashed in the supermarket in Elektro. I was'nt in battle but I heard shots somewhere. Don't think anyone saw me but anyway, no one accuse me of dc!

Seeds of a good game here. Good fun spawning somewhere and trying to meet up with your firends but I'm sick of finding a decent weapon or kit item and then being shot from a hill a grid away. And that thermal sensor sight is totally broken.

Needs to be some reward for not killing everyone you meet otherwise the game will be full of people that think griefing is the only way to play. Also needs to be some objectives as I've explored almost all the map. All I've left to do is to fly in a heli.

I'll keep an eye on the mod but until there's some changes I won't be back.

PS Goro, Cornflakes is the person who gave you the gun & drink. He was killed by Posh due to a mixup on TS and then you charged over the hill and joined Cornflakes respawning on the beach.

That was me, who got you and your friend in the UAZ. I was only about 100 metres away at the deer stand (114,101). Sorry about that. But I wanted to try out the jeep.

PvP is part of the game, I too dislike getting killed from a mile away with a .50 cal. But they are in the game so, it's what happens. TBH, I would love to see alot of the military hardware removed and have only more simple weapons. Civilian weapons.

And to Roland, if you are on here, that was a nice fire-fight. I didn't cop what was going on until I realised your friend, Flip, had a thermal on me from the hill. You almost had me. Well played.

Alot of people on the boards server like that. Amount of camp tents I came across earlier up on hills watching spawn points with loads of ammo, food etc. Took what I could and dumped the rest.

How can someone get joy out of lying on a hill top killing players who haven't attacked them, and more so, players who don't even have a pistol on them

I keep a tent near the coast, but with basic supplies. So I don't have to hit the hospitals. Before going north.

Fair enough, but this had alot of sniper ammo, I think 4 rounds, not to sure. Was watching the lighthouse on the mainland.

I don't think it is a hack. I've been reading about being able to add your own skins to the game. You have to edit the skin file and put in the correct folder and it'll be there. And whatever way the server works, it'll show in other peoples games.

If you have his player name, you can add his name to the friend list on Dayz commander, it'll show you the server he is on. lol

I told myself this was the last time I am running all the way up North and I really cant see myself going to that effort again.

This game seems to be a massive build up to a thoroughly disappointing moment when you lose everything.

I'm gonna give it a rest for a while, maybe a future patch will bring me back.

It doesn't really take that long to get up there.
I get up there in about 20-30 mins stopping in towns along the way.
