Would also like to find at least one bloody weapon that I could use against the Zs!

From what I've read it's a bug with the current version, and should be fixed in the next update. So it Z's shouldn't be able to see/hear you through walls, unless you are making alot of noise.

The more i play the more i see little point in heading north like everyone suggests.
It just gets boring trekking across land, i prefer to stay where the action is tbh.
Ofcourse if you want to survive head north but its a snoozefest doing so imo.

Fire station in electrovladask(sp?) is where I live in this game now lol. So much action and stuff around it, a mosque and a hospital all with lots of spawns, always loads of other players and ofc a zombiefest.

Indeed, if there was an actual objective north then it might be worth it, but there is not.

The players you find north are harder to kill, its too easy in the southern towns.

Well alot more gear spawns in places norths and also vehicles. Only thing is most of it is taken...

This is what sets this game from everything else. Its a complete sandbox...with zombies.

There are countless objectives out there. The only limitation to the amount of objectives is your own imagination!

Head north, hit the NW airfield's barracks, find some crashed choppers and get into some firefights!

Anyone having issues finding food ? Im Flashing red, and am currently in teh Supermarket / Apartments area of Brezino. Ive tried 4 servers but not a single tin of beans !!! Loads of drinks but no food !!!

Yeah same here, I started playing this game today. I once found a gun but never ammo for it. I have never found food or water. I found an axe and killed a player called coyote in the hope that he had food or water but no such luck.

Ya, they get hoarded up north. They don't re-spawn until they either forget to save them, or they blow up. The lads don't seem to actually use them which is disappointing.

If your moving servers while staying inside the supermarket nothing will spawn.

The last few days I've seen nothing but food and drinks in the supermarkets.


Plenty of guns spawning if your looking in the right place.

They are usually around urban areas. The apartments in northern Elektro and Berizino is where I usually find them and the Camo outfit.

I really cant wait to see where the prostitute outfit spawns. Maybe the porta-johns next to the Mil camp in Stary Dreamers

I murdered a guy in self defence. My first. I spawned onto the hospital roof and there he was. He took a shot and missed, so I nailed him with my Enfield. He had a map which was nice.

Where's my nice foliage gone? There used to be semi transparent edges to the leaves.

Was in a supermarket, with some really nice gear. Thought my luck was in. Then I went to look at some gear, but just as I clicked the mouse button, the menu disappeared and I fired my gun instead.

I managed to take out about 20 Z's with my broken leg before they overpowered me.

Hi lads I just bought combined ops on Steam. Do I have to download and install Arma 2 and then Arma 2 operation arrowhead (they are both like 7 gigs each) or do I just install operation arrowhead alone and then DayZ?

What the hell are you supposed to do when you switch backpacks? I know from before, if I drop a weapon on the ground it has disappeared. So I couldn't empty the backpack before I switched. And now when I switch my old backpack with the gear, it disappears. :mad:
