    Thats a load of bull!
I got mine in my local pharmacy around terenure area.
Wasnt a problem or a single question about it.
Im suprised they are so biased in the one you went to!Thats just plain weird..what you going to do..eat them? lol

I think you need to find a new pharmacy.Unless some rules have changed in the last 6 months.

    Yeah - that.

Also, memorize and practice this "I just want to buy them because I'm eating less carbs these days and want to avoid going into ketosis".

Any pharmacy has them behind the counter. You have to ask for them. They cost about €8 for a tub of 50. Boots will sell them without any hassle. But it's outragous that any chemist would refuse to sell them to you because you "look healthy". You could be a well-controlled diabetic.

It is none of their business why you want/need them!!
I find it hard to believe they would say that!

Tip for you when you get them, as they're quite expensive, get a scissors and cut them in half! I alway do that. They're always half price for me!

Yes it was very strange been asked why I wanted them and refused. I probably acting like a small child been given out too and dropped me eyes to look sorry for asking too.

It was on of a chain of chemists here in the sunny south east. There is another, Same chain, which I popped.into last night and got them No problem. €8.19.

Will be writing in a camplaint today regarding it. Based on the response here she was totally out of order.

    Thanks
