After seeing a couple of the finger pictures here's what happened to mine last year
After leaving hospital getting dressing changed:
About a month afterwards:
And today:
All thanks to the staff at Tallaght hospital. It's barely noticable now apart from the crooked fingernail and a slight scar.0 -

I was using a machine to cut stainless steel pipes, a bit bigger than the one below
One pipe was quite long so as it got cut it rose into the air while I was still holding it and my finger got trapped between the pipe and the saftey guard (you know, the thing that is supposed to prevent you from doing any damage to yourself).
Funny thing is, I was debating removing the guard earlier as it was getting in the way. If I had, I wouldn't have injured myself.0 -

Since we're on about fingers, this is when I tore the shìt out of my hand from a fence.
The skin on the left side of my middle finger just sliced off and hung like skin off a chicken wing, flapping. Sliced some nerves connected to the other finger, which resulted in numbness on one side of it.
Alls fine now, have about 90% feeling back in the finger that had the sliced nerves and the middle finger is grand. I have a big ass scar going down it to the center of my hand and it provides a good laugh to horrify people with :pac:0 -
