Sorry this mess has befallen you.

Have you not listened to a word of this Joe, this mess didn't befall her, she brought it upon herself.

How long before the Stockhollum Syndrome kicks in ?

ps would they not just have sent her home immediately??? Why are they keeping her in custody and not just flying her back to Ireland airport?

She is, but the next flight available isn't for a couple of days

And no competent country would allow foreigners with a child whose passport has long since expired run around in their country.

Is it not in the Geneva Convention that if you are held hostage, that you are entitled to least one BurgerKing meal (with optional milkshake)?

You should get the onion rings as well.

No, BK comes under "cruel and unusual punishment" which the Geneva Convention prohibits :)

Supersize is not an option though I would guess.

I agree with Joe. We're sorry about the mess but (Joe should have said) it's entirely your own fault.

In fact, the ordeal was so harrowing she wouldn't mind going to the resort for the last few days....

    That is what worries me.

I travel through Barajas (Madrid) a fair bit with my kids, and almost every time the police at passport control scrutinise their passports, and sometimes just say "hola XXXX" to one of my kids, to see if they respond to the name on the passport - very thorough and professional.

I have no sympathy for dublin taxis, airport to the city is a damn good fair, fecking ejits!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,395 ✭✭✭Paparazzo

They should move the airport 10 miles further north to keep the taxi drivers happy. And ban taxis from the tunnel
