so in singleplayer I built a village, somewhat like the created ones but mine is much better.

Anyway I want to put some testificates in there, and all the Iron golems, but I don't know how to go about it. Will they autospawn when a village exists, or do I have to do something special. How about stealing them from a real village?

Has anyone tried this before? Or know someone that does,

I'm not sure, one possible way is to change over to creative mode and spawn them in using eggs.

You can also make the iron golems manually.

But i don't know if they despawn or not

Ya can put them in minecarts, place a piece of track inside one of the houses and pop a minecart on it,. you just need to push th eminecart towards them then and they'll go in it. Then you can push the cart back on to a track and bring them anywhere you want.

they wont autospawn by the way, a golum should if theres enough villagers

I've made a village and used eggs to plant some villagers into it - they seem to be sticking around so far - using the houses at night, wandering during the day.
I even saw a child one running around -so it seems to work for me :)
