Better rope climbing skills. Pirates can only swing from one boat to another, while ninjas can drop from a helicopter.

I think the main issue with it is that if you set up on a fixed point they can track it down pretty easily. Worst case scenario you get all your stuff taken and a fine. It's actually interesting read Irish history of it.
