    Norwich 4-1 Liverpool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

If Chelsea can get a result against Barcelona and Torres can score, it is possible Liverpool can get a result here and Andy Carroll can score.

So in saying that 7-2 to Norwich.

Liverpool have been absolutely piled into on the exchanges over the past 24 hours. Wonder if somethings up..

So LFC are so substandard now, that the late late has taken over in our thread and creasts are order of the day in here...fair enough..

who has the nicest crest in the league? I think Swansea's is only lovely.

LFC on the beach (or thinking of next Saturday) so Canaries to win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭Ganymede Glow

Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Enrique; Shelvey, Henderson, Gerrard; Downing, Bellamy, Suarez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,751 ✭✭✭ASOT

Apparently andy hasnt even traveled. Sterling on the bench please.

Skrtel rested and it's not for Coates...

I don't know what to say.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭G.K.

Subs: Doni, Maxi, Coates, Kuyt, Spearing, Kelly, Skrtel

Two centre backs and a full back on the bench again this week.

Ruddy, Drury, Johnson, Morison, Pilkington, Fox, E. Bennett, Ward (c), Howson, Naughton, R. Bennett

subs: Steer, R. Martin, Vaughan, Holt, Surman, Hoolahan, Wilbraham

That'll be an attacking 4-2-3-1, most likely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,751 ✭✭✭ASOT

Its a joke that sterling isnt on the bench and that coates is starting...

    Norwich 3 - 0 Liverpool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Would have preferred Kelly for Johnson, Coates for Carra, Skrtel for Agger and Spearing and Carroll for Gerrard and Bellamy

    With Sterling on the bench

Bloody pointless bench if ever I saw one.

3 Defenders again, seriously what is the bloody point?

He's obviously giving Sterling the "prove yourself son" treatment. We are not f*cking a good enough side to be making the best of our kids bide their time.

Sterling at this point would probably be one of our best players if he was given a chance, thats where we are in fairness.

Stick him on the bench at least FFS

Right I want a 3-0 win for the Reds. I want Delia to cry. I want the pipes from the bathrooms in the ground to get blocked.

My petty little grudge against Norwich home and away goes on :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

If RAWK is any sort of (skewed) measure, Dalglish is probably doing more harm to his rep with his refusal to give Coates a start and Sterling a place on the bench than with the results.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,655 ✭✭✭El Inho

hmmm...strange one...looks like an interesting system were going for unless he's playing suarez and bellers up top together.

bench seems strange, team wouldnt have called...they've surprised us again!

    FFS carra over coates!!

1-1 in this one I think. Hopefully Liverpool play well. Glad to see Gerrard and Shelvey play but the bench is a disaster. Dalglish must be making a point to the owners or something.

    the game is essentially meaningless

why doesn't kenny experiment a bit?

is he worried about his own job or the future of the club?

no sign of suso or sterling or coady or coates or robinson - if you aren't going to give these kids a chance in nothing end of season games when there is an FA cup final next week them I am a bit mystified

what if agger or gerrard get injured and you could have had a look at wisdom or suso in a proper premier league games

    utterly uninspiring

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    No Coates....Kenny out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭G.K.

Henderson/Shelvey/Gerrard isn't a hugely strong midfield, especially if one of them is out at RW. That could be a weakness for pool today.

    1-1 im going for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,073 ✭✭✭Devilman40k

The reason Suso and Sterling haven't been included is that the reserve squad were given the week off with no training etc after their season ended on Monday

Not playing Coates is fcuking retarded. Do we not care that he gets a chance to adapt to English football?

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Yay Carra instead of Coates -_-

Look forward to seeing Henderson and Shelvey in the center at least.... assuming they play there of course.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Suso is with the Spanish U18s I think but Sterling would love to get the chance I'm sure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Apparently Sterling isn't in the team because any women in the first row of seats will get knocked up just by him running down the wing.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 7,943 Mod ✭✭✭✭Yakult

Why isn't Carroll with the team today? Injured?
Would like to have seen Coates starting ahead of Carragher. Bench is terrible to say the least.

And I used to think Fantasy Rafa was hard....

Possibility that Coates was Comolli's signing and Kenny didn't like that for some reason or still thinks English = better?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,836 ✭✭✭Sir Gallagher

I'm looking forward to seeing this Carragher kid in action..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,655 ✭✭✭El Inho

    Carroll's omission is a mystery...

doesn't need a rest...so either injury or something more sinister.

Well then these lads obviously aren't good enough to make the step up yet. If they were they'd be training with the first team!

Aside from Suso being with the u19's,

Rodolfo said that they don't get off until May 12th from training so they are around and i'm sure giving them a week off early then instead of now would be no problem if they got some good experience.
