Pubs in barcelona

Any good suggestions on good pubs/clubs in barcelona.we are into typical chart music so no trance electro music and preferably not a seedy joint :)

If your in the ramblas and fancy some grub and a pint, there's a place called "Sports Bar" which i liked. There's one there aswell called the Literary bar that played music channels on sky when i was there. I got free peanuts there.

Well, I wouldn't know about those places. But I would recommend La Champagneria on the way to Barceloneta for cheap bottles of cava, great atmosphere and cheap eats.

I mean, if you're looking for a trashy pop bar in Barcelona, honestly, it's Spain, you'll be spoilt for choice!
