I'm trying to live a primal lifestyle and doing well. However I have to go to Milano's tomorrow and Monday for two lunches.. I know I won't be ordering pizza but I'm just wondering what would be the best starter/mains, salad to order?

    Here's a link to menu http://www.milano.ie/our-food/mains.aspx

Ok for starters I would go for
the almonds & olives from the intros, or any of the intros are fine.
or the antipasto - hold the dough sticks

for mains - go for the nicoise salad without dough sticks. That would be the best of them, avoid any with balsamic syrup cos the sugar...and the other two have cheese...there is probaly sugar in the hose dressing, so maybe ask to hold that & see if you can get oil & viegar to dress salad yourself.

    Hth.

Nicoise salad with no dough sticks and a norcal margarita.

Nostrana, no breadsticks, no dressing. Sorry but none of the dressings in milano are Wh30 compliant, all made of horrible oils.

You could ask for some plain olive oil.

    Cheers for that.

Got some olives for starters..yum! I'd love to know where they get their green olives, they were amazing!

Got the nicoise salad minus breadsticks, wish I could have had an extra egg or something, 'cause it really wasn't that filling. Hardly any tuna in it!
Left the dressing and just had olive oil!

Wish they had better salad options!

    Thanks for the help guys

You'll have to sneak in extra hard boiled eggs in your handbag next time!
    Well done staying on plan.
