I think he is a good minister, intelligent, capable, well spoken, one of our best for years.

The nature of the empires dire economic circumstance means he has to make unpopular decisions and policies, I think he is doing that well.

ah he is the most likeable of a very unlikeable lot in FG. tbh he does come across like he knows what he is saying/doing etc.

    How
It would be great if he could say yes to everything and give us all what we want. We had a politician like that and his name was bertie.

He's a prick. He's Minister for Transport yet he kept butting in on the household charge debate to throw out threats! He's a smarmy, slimy git.

Nothing really except he could have done anything, yet he chose public service.

I think he went to medical college, but not sure.

Then why isn't he a doctor earning more money instead of pissing people off and screwing people over?

He is the minister for transport but he is primarily a member of this government, he has to push the policies of this government.

Would you do a better job, I honestly can say I wouldn't.

This is irrelevant. It's like saying "I don't like picasso" and someone saying "well then you paint something better"

More ridiculous was him wearing a Dublin jersey under his suit jacket at the all Ireland final last September

The big mystery, I really don't know why someone so capable would choose public life. For him it is not about the money, is it the power, the celebrity I haven't got a clue. Its a thankless job, that is for sure.

I would like to see more Leos and less Jackie Healys and Berties.
