    The course started Monday so you are a bit late.

    Best thing to do is give some programming a go, there are plenty of online tutorials.

    If you start here and see how far you get. If you get into it and like it a potential career awaits and classroom learning would be the way to go. Takes a bit of work and no doubt you will be confused and baffled on numerous occasions, but that's what it's all about. Solving problems ..

    I'd agree with k.p.h. It is a good idea to see if you enjoy programming, especially the problem solving aspects of it by doing the tutorials .

    If you do enjoy programming, then the course sounds like a quick way to start a career as a programmer. The course description does not explain in enough detail what topics are covered, so it is hard to say how good the course is. For me the big plus in the course is the work experience.
