    Good Morning,

I bought a Perfect.Pull up bar basic in TK Max (eu19.98) on opening the box I discovered its Max load weight is 99.98kg. Unfortunatelly I am 112kg.

Online The us version of this bar states it has a max load of 300lb =136kg.
    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Perfect-Pullup/11064295

Does anyone have any expereance with this bar do you think I could get away with using it at my weight or should I just return it.:confused:

    Cheers

The thing is if it is only rated for 100kg and you use it (being 112kg yourself) and it gives way and you injure yourself, you have no comback, as they have stated the max weight on the box.

I think you would have been better getting a door frame pull up bar tbh, similiar to this one

Unfortunatelly the doors in my Apartment all have windows above them so would not suit that type of Bar.

I was wondering was the max weight reduced for the EU due to some regulation as it doesnt make sense that it has two different max weight for the EU and USA.

With the average weight being a bit higher over there it would make a bit of sense though. Less material needed here then for the same priced product

Yeah I think ill just return the thing.. Effort!!
I was hoping someone on here had used it with 120 kg and could say in their opinion it was sturdy enough to be used.

Anyone have any recomendations for an alternative pull up bar preferably one with its own stand?
