I am currently considering the 3yr Civil Engineering in W.I.T , applying as a mature student which the aim of progressing afterwards to specialize.

It has been 6 years since I last studied at Leaving Cert. and would like to know if anyone has studied this course from a similar approach as myself.

With a B1 in Maths (Ordinary) at Leaving Cert. how achievable is the maths content on this course ?
I would also be interested to hear the different directions taken by people after completing this course and their thoughts now with the benefit of hindsight.

Any comments, opinions or helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated on this .

    Thank you.
