Is anyone studying MSc. Biomedical diagnostics in DCU?

    Or do you know anyone studying it?

    What are the career prospects after it? I am currently studing Science with Nanotechnology. Is this a high demand course in DCU (I imagine it is, so grade competetion is going to be very very very fierce). :(:(

    I tried emailing DCU to get info as their website is not that informative in the questions I asked, and I emailed them and got no response.

    Hi, I did this course in 2010/11 and really enjoyed it. I'm doing a PhD at the moment. Many of the class have got jobs or gone on to further education.

    Afair, for my year, the intake was approx 20 from 70 applicants. Not sure about competitiveness on grades, experience and enthusiasm will help too (i only had a 2.1 applying). There were phone interviews held mid-summer for the course.

    Yeah I contacted her by email but got now answer. My main concern is if my degree, Science with Nanotechnology is enough to gain access to this course.

    People with all sorts of backgrounds from physics, computer science, engineering, biomedical science and so on have done the course. The primary degree isnt going to be the main determining factor in whether or not you are admitted. Try phoning again in a week or two.
