For me - my life is a permanent battle for my love for food and wanting to be skinny :o

I'm not over weight or under weight for my age - I'm just average.
I lost about 3 stone over a year ago from eating healthy and exercise and have managed to keep it off, although like most people - I would still like to lose that last bit and tone up. I found it was a lot easier to lose the weight when I was bigger...

Recently , I tried the hole "low carb diet" and lasted about a week
done a lot of research on it, went and bought and prepared the right foods - but every day I was extremely tired and unable to get myself out the door do the gym.
Realized then that I'm not able to live without carbs... and the diet went out the door  That's just one example of a failed diet...

    Anyways,
    back to my question ..
    All you health people/ trainers/ fitness instructors/ etc ......

    what is a healthy/normal diet ?
I'm talking the diets that people actually stick to for life not just a short fix or short term diet.. I'm talking long term/ life change diet... ?

is there anyone out there that eats Nothing else but healthy foods sun - sun and never touches junk foods - chocolate/burgers/pizza etc ?
are there people here that NEVER have a takeout or drink beer or indulge at the weekend ?

me - I have to have a little treat at the weekend (pizza and beer) I couldn't live with that. and not gonna lie I have the proper "indulge" weekends once in a while , they consist of nothing but junk and all night heavy drinking :o

But we have to live... right ?

Would like to hear some opinions and peoples own experience and prospective on a "diet"?
