Hope none of the mods have a problem with me posting this here. We're starting a sofball team in West Clare and we're having an open day at Kilrush Community School Field this Sunday (April 22nd) from 2pm -4pm.

Softball is a bat and ball game very similar to rounders that is played by millions of people worldwide. There are over 50 teams in Ireland. It is a mixed sport with 5 men and 5 women on each team. Softball is suitable for anyone aged 15+ of any level of fitness or ability. No experience needed.

It's very relaxed and sociable. If you are interested then come along on Sunday any time between 2 and 4pm or PM me. We have spare gloves so you don't need to bring any equipment.
