    Can anyone tell me a good pdf editor that you can get for free online? The only ones i can find put a stupid "demo" through each of the pages of my pdf

    I need to merge documents in a pdf but can't seam to do it with the inbuilt pdf creator on a mac

    Have a look for "PDFiLL PDF Tools" for editing and merging. Not sure what the editing bit is like as I use Quark for that but the merge bit of the software is tops. Its PC only though if your just in da mac.

    It's possible to do this using Preview by dragging one of the PDFs over the thumbnail in the other document's sidebar. It's a bit awkward though and Apple made it even more confusing in Lion, so you need to make sure it worked before you delete the other file.

    You can do this through Automator.

    Google "automator combine pdfs" and there should be instructions there.
