The muzzle energy is around 330 fps.

    is the above correct?

    Why shouldn't be?

    Yes,of course.

because 330 fps with a .2g bb is over the limit, thats why i ask.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,532 ✭✭✭Rooky1

    Hey mate

328fps is the legal max limit!

    What exactly are the internals?
I know you mention the Systema gearbox, but what exactly is inside?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 132 ✭✭Choppergunner

    I'm sure it's not over,because I skirmish regularly and I can't use over guns.

The muzzle power in J is 0,97.

The internals are the ones that came with the Hurricane kit.

The quality of this kit is excellent so it doesn't really need custom parts.

Nonetheless, this little monster has a Systema reinforced 7mm gearbox.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,532 ✭✭✭Rooky1

That is cool .97 equals 323fps with .2's!!

    Any info on the internals?

330 fps is not .97J so is it .97J and the 330 fps was a typo or what?

Could you give an exact list of what's in her externally, her battery type, what base gun was she? (If it's a kit) and what battery connections she has. Thanks.

    Beauty of a gun BTW.

I'm sorry but I'm always confused about FPS,I always make mistakes.

That's way I prefer to express the muzzle energy in J or m/s.

I'm 100% this thing is not over.

    This is Marui M4A1 based.

I will give you further details asap since now I'm in hurry.

Keep asking what you want to know.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,532 ✭✭✭Rooky1

Right now the fps question is sorted, any info on the internals?:)

    Rooky1 wrote: »

    Told you :D

The ones that came with the kit, combined with some of the Marui M4A1 which was the base.

This kit is (was) worth more than 500€,so it doesn't really need anymore custom parts.

When I say "kick ass internals" I don't mean a list of aftermarket internals, but just the kit ones and few of the original ones..this gun is a monster, especially with the systema gearbox is equipped with.

This is comparable to a Systema PTW for its performances.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,532 ✭✭✭Rooky1

Unfortunately that doesn't answer the question.

    What make are the gears?
What cylinder, piston, piston head, cylinder head?
Bearing or non bearing spring guide?
Was the gearbox a complete one when you bought it? or did it have to be assembled?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 701 ✭✭✭Eo1n8wrd

does this have to be posted from italy too? or is this one in ireland?

    It's in Italy mate.

For what concerns technical questions,I cannot give an answer about what is specifically inside because I can't remember right now.

    I will explain asap.

    I can just say:

    -Bearing spring guide
-The gearbox was a complete one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,532 ✭✭✭Rooky1

Thats cool, so a complete Systema gearbox.

When will it be in Ireland?

Don't know what you mean,fella..you want to know how many days will take for the gun to get there?

My mistake I thought you were bringing it to Ireland first.

Interest withdrawn. Good luck with your sale.:)

Just sayin' the Op said it was all in so I imagine he means it includes shipping, and if he were to post it it is within the EU so no problems would arise whatsoever.

    GLWS

you have some nice pieces alright, would love to make an offer on some of your pistols you have up here but it's the potential hassle of bringing them in from abroad.
can i ask how you arrived at €750 for this one? you say you skirmish it regularly and you are not including the sight, this being the case your price is a bit steep, are you definately not interested in trades?

I don't mind spending that kind of money with a retailer, but for a 2nd hand AEG I would prefer to meet the person.:)

The price includes shipping and paypal. 40€+30€=70€

    750€-70€ of paypal and shipping=680€

The kit itself costed me more than 500€,was TM M4A1 based (which costed me originally 300€),has an expensive systema gearbox,a frontal grip and a noveske flash hider.

All of this is worth more than 850€ not including deliveries and customs for when I bought some of the items.

As for the pistols,I prefer cash.

You can try to offer me but I'm not swapping this..I could just part ex. (I'm not into standard guns, just high end stuff)

Anyway, the delivery will be fast and tracked..so you don't have to worry.

    cheers but no thanks,
as rooky1 put it for that money i would have to test fire it and give it a good going over before a penny left my hands as it is second hand, heavily modified and heavily used.
I mean, would you buy a used car on a sellers word alone?
    GLWS.

just a curious bystander here, what makes this gun so special?

Sorry but, when I said that is "heavily used"?

    And when "heavily modified"?

This thing is made of the Hurricane Kit and the Systema gearbox, basically.

    That's simple and clear.

And I skirmished it about 20 times since I have it,because I always use other guns (now I use this because I have my PTW broken;but since now I've found someone to fix it,I don't need this 416 anymore).

Therefore I can comprehend what you say, even if there's a big difference between a car and an asg:D

    dinnybyrne wrote: »

Come on man,are you kidding me?

The goddamn hurricane kit along with the systema gearbox, which are amazing together.

I don't exaggerate when I say that this is almost comparable to a PTW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 701 ✭✭✭Eo1n8wrd

you said you skirmish it regularly: now you say 20 times, which is it?
heavily modified: you say you have a lot of aftermarket expensive parts on and in it, sorry but wouldn't take someones word on something like that, but thats just me.
and there is no difference between asking me to shell out big money for a second hand item be it car, aeg, or any other hardware without inspecting it first.
either way interest withdrawn. best of luck with it chief.

I skirmish regularly NOW because I have my PTW broken.

But I've found a way to fix it so I don't need this anymore.

I skirmished some like 5 times in the last 2 weeks but in the past 2 years I hardly used it because I've always had something better (CTWs and PTWs).

Man what the hell, what part of "when I say kick ass internals I don't mean a list of aftermarket parts" you don't understand?

All comes from the kit which is very very high quality, plus some parts from the original TM M4A1 and the systema gearbox.

I agree when you say that you don't want to spend big money without inspecting stuff like this, that's a respectable choice.

    Cheers.

you are very welcome, no need to resort to using profanities though or to querying my grasp of the english language.
my point was that i would only have your word for it that these parts are on it until it arrived on my doorstep and i am without a wedge of cash or a leg to stand on.
    have a pleasant evening.

Man I was clearly ironic, don't wanted to say that you can't understand me..but I'm repeating more than once some concepts so I would expect to be understood.

Sorry for my expression, being Italian I don't probably know how to misure words in english:D

    For the rest,as I said,I totally agree.

Have a pleasant evening, but if you change your mind remember that I'm absolutely open to offers.

Ok, I'll offer you €50 as a deposit and when it arrives on my doorstep, and assuming it is everything you claim it to be then i will send you €500 more.
thats a total of €550, my top offer!

Yeah and assuming that everything's fine and then you don't give me the rest of the money..?

Come on man,I don't want to judge you because I don't know you..don't want to say you'll be unfair..but come on,even if you don't trust me how can I accept such proposal and trust you?

    Who could ever accept this?Nobody.

    6 & 2X3
you are asking me to do the EXACT same thing. Float you a load of hard earned cash and you send me a paving brick in a box?
Offer is on the table, unless someone else wants to step in and beat it!

Come on man..if you pay for this and receive a brick, you can obviously open a dispute with paypal..that's why paypal exists.

Do you know that if you give me so much money and I send you junk it would be a cheat?

I would obviously have to refund you.

You can see the gun in the pictures and that's exactly what I'll give to the one who pays for it.

you pay the flights, obviously this is going nowhere.

Man,seriously,if anyone would act like you, nobody would buy stuff from internet..from forums and some like that.

Because ANYONE could say "I don't trust you, maybe you'll ship me cheapjack so I give you 20€ and the rest of all the money when it'll be at my door and is perfect".

Many times happened that I received something slightly different from what I bought (this happens to ANYONE),but this doesn't mean that for any purchase I claim to give just the 10% or less than it before..and the rest of the money only if the stuff is 100% perfect.

NOBODY IN THIS WORLD with a bit of brain would accept this thing.

And since this is a open thread,if someone wants to give an opinion about this is free to talk.

You can't even give an accurate description of it?
you led off with the statement "kick ass internals" and a ridiculous asking price,
you are unable to answer Rooky1 about what is actually in the gearbox, ie; what type of gears, piston, piston head, spring, spring guide, wiring, etc etc.
for that type of an asking price you should have done your homework and at least presented it in some sort of intelligent manner "kick ass internals" is not going to entice money from people!
You also advertised it as a "hot" gun firing at 330 fps which you have now changed to 320 because you got pulled up on it, again we are supposed to take your word on something you are not clear about! i would expect you to be putting up a chrono reading for us all to see so whoever buys it does not wind up in court over importing an illegal firearm.
The most suspicious part is that you are borderline on dropping your price by €200 for a quick sale!
Something fishy there i think! all in all i don't think you know what you are doing so my previous offer is now retracted!!!

But when in the hell I said "550€ are enough"?

I could consider 600€ but would prefer to have more, just because I'm in need of money.

you seem to be having little joy selling this here, perhaps you could withdraw it from sale here and sell it more locally to yourself where potential buyers could meet you in person and inspect the goods before committing to buy.
