It sounds like a nightmare for you and I can feel your anguish I really can.

I think you need to be talking to two professionals and soon. You should be speaking with a consultant spinal surgeon and a solicitor. I say the solicitor because the consultant will cost you some money and it sounds like your place of work is not fit for purpose and has caused you this pain and anguish.

You could spend a whole year going from one physio or chiro to another and you might never get to the root of the problem. Go to the GP get a letter to a consultant surgeon for back issues. They are the best and will see you right.

I agree with this. Go see a GP and inform them that you've been feeling pain for too long now and you need consultant opinions. Even ring your current GP for a referral letter as you weren't happy with his diagnosis. I'd say he'll come over with a letter pretty quick for nothing then.

Please, for the love of Zeus, please tell me you completed two separate accident report forms at the time of each fall and kept a copy of each?

Bring the issue up at work.
If you have no sucess seek legal advice.
If the second fall was a result of not fixing an issue that arose from the first accident your employer could be in breach of saftey legislation.
Have the HSA been correctly notified?
For the record, I hate ambulance chasers but when the spine is involved it is better to be safe than sorry.

In short yes. You should not be out of pocket for anything and you should also not be dealing with all this distress either. Back problems can be terrible to deal with emotionally.

I think you should legal advice no matter what happens. It doesn't sound you want to be cheating anyone but spinal injuries are serious business and you want the best you can for yourself.

Getting legal doesn't mean you have to pursue anything. Just get educated and defo go see a consultant.
