I am restricted to having a bench and a set of dumbbells, and a pull-up bar. I am a beginner who wants to build muscle, I've already started and am super-motivated(got a right kick up the ar** a few weeks ago). I see everyone saying that beginners should start with compound exercises so I picked these exercises and try to do this routine once every 3 days.

    Does it look ok?
    Am I missing anything major?
Would I be better having a split routine?
I feel like I'm missing opportunity to work out on the 2 days I'm resting.

    Shoulders- Dumbbell Shoulder Press

    Chest- Dumbbell Bench Press

    Lats- Pull-Up

Middle Back- One Arm Dumbbell Row

    Quads- Dumbbell Squat

    Abs- Air Bike

    Abs- Stomach vacuum

I would consider putting deadlifts in. They work loads of different muscle groups. Just make sure your form is correct. Find someone who knows how to do them and look at some vids on YouTube. If their done wrong you can seriously damage your back.
