As it says. Straight away I can think of Djibril Cisse, Nani (injured in fairness but nothing compared to last season) and Arsenal's Park (so bad he doesn't even make the bench).

Obviously there's a few current and ex liverpool players to be mentioned too.

Andrey Arshavin and Andy Carroll top it for me.

Cisse has scored 2 goals & only joined in january so he is nowhere near the list
Nani was superb until January so he would also be nowhere near the list

    1 Torres
    2 Carroll
    3 Chamakh
    4 Arshavin
    5 N'Zogbia
    6 Downing
    7 Adam
    8 Drogba
    9 Park (Man Utd)
    10 Joey Barton

Nani?! Are you taking the p!ss or something? He was outstanding before Christmas, only coming back from injury now. To call him a flop is beyond ridiculous.

Nani has 10 assists and 6 goals in the league, which averages at around 1 goal every 3 games, and an assist every second game, hardly a flop by any standards, not to mention injuries.

As a comparison(and my choice as a flop), Stewart Downing has contributed 0 goals and 2 assists this season. He has featured in all but 2 of Liverpool's league games this season.

Two goals is not a lot. I'm sure Mark Hughes thought his goal return would be better in the three months or so he has been there.

You could say he hasn't played a lot in his defence but that is only because he keeps getting himself sent off. So I think he well deserves his place on this list.

How can people include Park Ji Sung?

He has been a non starter for so long, and when he comes on he does a solid job.

There's a stat going round, I think it's that that every game Park started in CM, United lost.

Ha Nani even being mentioned is brilliant. He is 4 goals and 1 assist shy of what Gareth Bale has managed all season so far, and Bale has played 899 minutes more than him. Now we all know that Bale will get nominated for POTY and all that. There is no way that Nani should even be considered as underperforming.

I also feel that if he was able to get a few months injury free behind him then he'd be playing as well as if not better than Valencia is at the moment.

Here's what I posted about Nani a few months ago. The stats have changed but my point still stands.

Have you watched no United matches at all this season? Time and time he comes up with the goods. Sure he had a bad spell a few weeks ago but he's over that now and he's back firing on all cylinders, and it's no coincidence that United are back on form as well.

He gets a hard time from the people that are unashamedly blinkered in their views but I firmly believe that he is one of the top wingers in England this season and doesn't look out of place on the European stage.

He got 9 goals and 18 assists last season. After 17 games of this season he has 6 goals and 8 assists. Statistically he is well on the way to replicating last season if not surpassing it. Also, with Vidic gone I don't think it'd be wrong for me to say that he is our most important player, along with Rooney.

My bad re Nani: prob just that he hasn't done anythign in months. Still Nani last year was unplayable.

Re: De Gea. I wouldn't include him myself but he's only been decent since march so it should be up for debate. Was he dropped for all of Jan?

Park (UTD's) has been awful when he's played this season. He used to be mr. reliable but tbh he's been the opposite this season. Hasn't been helped by playing cm but has certainly been Utd's worst player.
